ProfileThe focus of our research is on distributed information systems. Our work targets at the synthesis of conceptual work with prototypical deployments, in different applications. Our current topics include peer-to-peer technology, (selected aspects of) cloud-infrastructures, workflow management, (technical aspects of) data privacy, data mining (currently mainly with applications in the areas of software engineering and computer architectures) and data processing in sensor networks.
